In October 1993, President Clinton made a trip to Sacramento for a televised "Town Hall" meeting from the KCRA studios. We were invited to fly with the President cross-country aboard Air Force 1 from Washington D.C. to Sacramento.
The Boeing 747-200B seats about 68 people and has everything from an operating room to telephones at every seat. Having flown first class a few times on various airlines, nothing compares to a flight on the Presidential aircraft.
A once in a lifetime opportunity for sure... and one of the biggest thrills of my career!
